Our Story
It all began on a warm summer evening, September 1st, 2018, in Montreal. Elia was in town for a wedding, and her cousins arranged a lively dinner to celebrate her birthday. Little did Elia know that this evening would change her life forever. At the bustling restaurant, filled with laughter and clinking glasses, Jean-Paul walked in with a charming smile that would soon captivate her heart.
Throughout the night, Jean-Paul's humor shone brightly, making Elia laugh like never before. At the end of the dinner, he sweetly brought a cake to Elia, adding a special touch to her evening. Pretending to be a couple, they snuck into a club together, where they danced the night away, completely lost in each other. Elia, eager to dance freely, kicked off her heels to keep up with Jean-Paul’s moves. But it didn't take long before she accidentally stepped on a piece of glass, cutting her foot and causing a lot of blood. Ever the gallant gentleman, Jean-Paul immediately followed Elia and her cousin to the nearest pharmacy, where he took care of her, ensuring she was alright.
The Aftermath
The next day, Elia found herself gushing to her mother and messaging her best friend from Lebanon about the hilarious and thoughtful Jean-Paul, feeling in her heart that he was "The One." Her excitement was palpable. Meanwhile, Jean-Paul couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful girl who had laughed and danced so freely with him, hoping for any excuse to see her again. They soon found every possible reason to meet, their connection growing deeper with each encounter.
Milestones
Their first date on September 17th, 2018, was nothing short of magical, setting the stage for a whirlwind romance that soon spanned cities and continents. Despite the challenges of a long-distance relationship between Montreal and Lebanon, their love only grew stronger. After two years, Elia decided to close the distance and join Jean-Paul in Montreal. The romance reached its peak on September 23rd, 2023, during a beautiful sunset on the sandy beach of Byblos. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty and rich heritage of Lebanon, Jean-Paul asked Elia for her hand in marriage, creating a moment that resonated deeply with them both.

When is the RSVP deadline?
Our latest RSVP is on June 14th.
What is the dress code?
We have chosen a Formal or Black-Tie attire dress code for our wedding to add to the elegance of the day. For men, this includes a tuxedo or a suit with a tie. For women, an evening gown or a sophisticated cocktail dress is perfect. We hope this helps you in selecting your outfit and adds to the excitement of our special day.
What will the weather be like?
The weather should be sunny and hot, but the high altitude of the venue should result in significantly less humidity and more chill during the night. So for the girls you can bring if you want a scarf.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Everything is outdoors:
- Wedding ceremony
- Reception
- Dinner
- Party
What time should I arrive?
If you would like to accompany the groom's parents to the bride's place, please arrive at the groom's house before 1 pm. For those who prefer to spend more time with the groom, he will be at his house until 4 pm before leaving for the ceremony.
The bride and all guests will be departing from Jbeil to the ceremony at 2:45 pm. If you wish to partake in the pre-ceremony festivities and join the convoy, please plan to arrive by 2:30 pm to ensure you're included in the departure.
Where should I park?
There will be parkings in both entrances (ceremony and venue)
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the bride and the groom with the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception venue, where we will be serving finger foods and beverages during the cocktail hour.
